life is a choice
In our daily lifes,we have mamy choices to make,such as what to eat for supper,what clothes to wear or what to do on weekends.At certain times in our lifes,we need to make even more critical choices,such as which school to attend,what job to do or who to choose as husband or wife.Yes,life is a matter of choice.Seemingly,it means a choice of tangible things.But in essence,it means choosing a way of life.Life is to be lived,savored,and enjoyed,not to be wasted or complained about.
Hardly can we fet the time when our society faced the grave threat life-and-death disease-SARS.Yet,even during those dreadful times,some afflicted people remainded optimistic.Instead of wearing neutral white masks,some people turned to coloful ones,and thus display a happy mood.And some creative people dubbed SARS to mean"smile and remain smiling".I was deeply touched by their optimisim,nearly fetting that we are still in a battle.People who survive this kinds of circumtances,(at some point)decide in their minds to carry on in spite of overwhelming odds.
Laid-off workers,tipcally regarded as the victims of economic advancement,are subject to desperatoin that being unemployment has brought on them.But,encouringly,we have witnessed some of them striving hard to rebuild confidence toward life and discover new opportunities for demostrating their values.
Although we can't choose our appearence,inborn gifts and even unexpected disasters and adversities,we do have the privilege to choose to live optimistcally,to love our lives,to have dreams,and to cherish hopes.
Every morning when we get up,we have a choice of how we want to approach life that day.As for me,i choose to be cheerful.

Lily is the kind of girl you love to hate. She is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask her how she was doing, she would reply, "everyday i make miracles.” She was a natural motivator.
If a classmate was having a bad day, lily was there telling the classmate how to look on the positive side of the situation. Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day i went up to lily and asked her, "i don' t get it. You can' t be positive all the time. How do you do it?" lily replied, each morning i wake up and say to myself 'lily, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood.' i choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, i can choose to be a victim or choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it. Every time someone comes to me complaining i can choose to accept their complaining or i can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life.""yeah, right. It isn't that easy." i protested. "yes it is, " lily said. "life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line is: it's your choice how you live life. " i reflected on what lily said.
I am a moody person, basically, an optimist. However it was not mean all the time . When my house destroyed in a fire, when I face no money to continue my further study ,when I failed in an important exam, I do feel depressed, upset, sad. Sometimes I even thought life was hopeless. But whenever think ing what lily said ,’’ just try to see the positive side, a famous poet in Russia once said’ if life cheat you ,do not be sad, do not be despair ,everything will be past. It is useless to regret , it is pointless to cry .’’She is a strong minded girl . I always admire her only for this . Now everything past, and turn out to be very good.
It was said that when God closed the door, he will open the window for you . It is true in my case, though I have to spend one more year to get my bachelor degree , I experienced a lot during the special three years in Jiaxing. I made a lot of friends ,I learned to be independent , I strengthened my mind. Here is a story that I keep in mind all the time. On the table there is a bottle with half-filled water. The moment a pessimist seeing it , he signs, ’’ there is only half water left.’’ On the contrary, a optimist cheerfully crys out’’ there is still half bottle of water left. What a wonderful thing .’’ In Buddhism credenda , what he or she saw lies in his or her thoughts. If she thinks of flowers whatever appears is flower, if she thinks of evil ,whatever appears in front will be evil.
Since everything happened which we call “history” that can not be changed , try to see the cheerful side ,You lose one , you will get a new one in another way . You choose to be silent, you lose the opportunity to speak. Hamlet once ask “to be or not to be “, I definitely choose to be , I want to live fully .

I think I am confused about the future. Since no one know who I am, I will speak it out as free as I can. First, I'd better categarise my good aspects. I am a man of integrity. I am healthy, smart, sometimes humous, and hold on to my love. My shortcoming is also a lot, many of which I cann't change. I am short, only about 165cm. I am not handsome, just a little better than the average level, I think so but girls don't. My teeth are a little ugly. I have many kinds of diseases in latency, this is my personal view, because I don't feel well sometimes but I cann't figure them out. The most damned thing is that I am only a son of a poor farmer family. When it comes to my ideal job in the future, I want to get my ambition, that is to be a famous scientist in climate change or so. If I have such a job, I will not regret before I die. A person live in this world should do something for the whole hunman society, not just for the motherland or political parties. So, to work for the government is what I don't disire. However, to be a researcher means you are a poor man, at least the young scientists are poor in China. If I was poor when I need money to marry my beloved girl, I think it is a tough task even when she is not so eager for money. So what the abundent money I get after I become famous can do? I will never make for the loss in my earlier age. I thought it over and found it is better to get a P.H.D first. Because I need it to get my dream in life, and I cann't loss this opportunity. When I finish my Master's degree, I will try my best to get the chance of studying abroad, and U.S is the best. I the follow 6 years, I am just a poor guy. The embarrassment is that I am qualified to marry, and I don't even have a girlfriend although I love IVORY very much. She will find a job next year and never come back to the compus of ECNU. I will become mad if my life lack such a girl. If I will still keep silent about my love, I will totally loss. Harry up, I will chase her next term. We can make friends, even the ordinary ones. I wish she is different from the vulgar women, to marry her is the most important thing in my life. However, I will risk treating her not very good, because I don't have enough money to support her life like a billionare. I want simple life, I wish she like it too. My targets are to buy my Lambogini and two or three villas. Those are too much for a researcher in China, should I emigrate? If she like, I will. I don't believe in God, I will strive to make my dreams true.
