as if和as though的区别
一、文法不同
as if 引导的方式状语从句或表语从句，用虚拟语气。
例句： He acts as if he knew me. 他显得认识我似的。
as though 表示与现在事实相反，谓语动词，用would (might, could)+动词原形。
例句：They treat me as though I were a stranger. 他们待我如陌生人。
二、时态不同
as if 表示与过去事实相反，用过去完成时。
例句：This meat tastes as if it has already gone bad. 这肉吃起来似乎已经坏了。
as though 表示将来的可能性不大，用一般过去时。
例句：I feel as though I’m floating on air. 他感到好像漂浮在空中。
三、语境不同
as if 用来描述比较悲惨的境遇或者状况。
例句：It is not as if he were poor. 他不像穷的样子(或他又不穷)。
as though 语境属于中性，可以用到很多情境中。
例句：It is not as though you were going away for good. 又不是你离开不回来了。

在日常交流中，可以忽视它们的区别，只有在一些细腻的表现中，才需要注意。
as if纯粹表示比喻，而as though则含有一点说话人的主观上的肯定。
以下对比
He is talking crazily as if he were on drugs.
He is talking crazily as though he were on drugs.
前者只是像吃了药，而后者说话人是真的怀疑他吃了药。
Tim writes as if he were left-handed.
Tim writes as though he were left-handed.
前者只是说Tim像左撇子，而后者说话人是真的怀疑Tim是左撇子。
We danced as if it were the last time.
We danced as though it were the last time.
前者的描写相对冷淡，而后者则带有说话人的主观，认为这真的是最后一次，带有一点惋惜的意思。
另外，as if可以用作强烈的否定，而as though则不行。

As if.
=It isn't as if I like him. （我看上去像是喜欢他吗）
×As though
这是因为as though带有说话人的主观肯定，跟所表达的意思有矛盾。

用在asif/as though, 或evenif/even though引导的从句中: 这时，如果从句中表示的动作发生在过去，则谓语动词用had＋过去分词形式；如果指的时现在的状况，则用过去式 (be用were)；指将来则用would(should,could)+动词原形。这里只看从句动作发生的时间，与主句的时态没有关系。

Some metals look at first sight as though they weregold.
He looked as if he were an artist.
He speaks English so fluently as if he had studiedEnglish in the U.S.
He always sounds as if he would help you.
When a pencil is partly in a glass of water, itlooks as if it were broken.
