interesting to whom
generally speaking it may be true.. becase they tend to fit the taste of the intended audiences
but not alwasy true because movies made by the usa are popluar almost all over the world.

我托福是很久以前考的，大部分要求都忘了，不过我可以给你几点意见。
1.你的观点为什么不一上来就表达清楚呢？在美国，所有人都喜欢一句话，Time is money，没有人表达意思会绕弯弯，美国人习惯开头一两句直接把自己的观点说出来，直接说政府应该注重小孩的教育还是大学教育就可以了，像你这样的开头段让人看的云里雾里的，印象很不好。
2.Pythagoras interpreted the universe through numbers. He was a philosopher and a mathematician in ancient Greek, and he knew the importance of learning very well. 这样写很业余唉，应该这畅浮扳簧殖毫帮桐爆昆样：Pythagoras，a philosopher and a mathematician in ancient Greek who interpreted the universe through numbers, knew the importance of learning very well.这样才是受过教育的人写出的东西。你里面很多句子都有这种问题，语法像小孩子说话似地。
3.全文的总体结构不鲜明，在美国，大家写东西都喜欢用3或5段式，这样的文章清楚明白，一看就知道要说什么，你这样的文章如果在学校里交上去绝对会被老师说一顿（老师很少说一顿学生的）。
其实还有不少别的问题，不过这3个最明显了，虽然没有评分，不过我说这样的文章肯定得不了高分的。追问感谢您的回答！那请问有没有什么方法可以迅速提高一些呢

It is more important to choose friends that can have fun with you than to choose friends that will help you when you need them.(其实按照整篇来看，作者要选的是能帮你的朋友而不是酒肉朋友，所以开头的这句话，顺序错了，应该为It is more important to choose friends who can help you out when you are in trouble than those can only have fun with you.)
One’s life can’t be departed with friends. But as for the problem（个人推荐用Point） to chose(Chose 应改成Choose,可能是拼写错误) which type of friends,
those have fun with you are those who help you when you need, every one have a
different choose（ Choose应该改成Choice.Have a choice是一个搭配。Choose是动词不能做名词）. Personally, I prefer the latter one.
Actually,
those who will only make your laugh must have a propose（Propose是Verb,可能是拼写错误，可能作者想拼成purpose。 purpose:企图，目的）. Usually , they want to
obtain （建议用get,Obtain一般指通过努力得到好的东西，词性带褒义。可用Get,中性色彩）something from you. For example, my aunt, Jane , once had a friend that
always make her happy when she was single. He always gave my aunt lots of presents or go travel with my
aunt. My aunt was pleased, and started to think about marry him. However, when
my aunt lost part of her fortune,(she was quite wealthy before) the man left
her without saying a word. We can find this type of stories on the newspaper
everyday, when we meet those who would do nothing but only have fun with you ,but
leave you or find an excuse when you ask for help, we shouldn’t be their
friends.
Second, I have to
say that true friend will not always please you . For example, in the book Emma,
Mr. knightly is Emma true friend, but he often told Emma her short points. Such
as after Emma laughed other people at the picnic, Mr. Knightly told her she was
too proud, that made Emma quiet angry. But, due to Mr. knightly unwelcome
words, Emma have changed to a better girl. That is to say, friends who always have
fun with you, appreciate you or please you, are not all your true friends. Instead,
that are even bad for you.
In addition, as
the proverb runs, those who help you are your true friends. Really, friends are
those who care about you , and give you a hand or undergo the trouble with you.
Certainly, we should choose then to be our friend.
So , in short , Certainly, we should choose
them to be our friend instead of those who can only make you feel happy.and Iwould to so .

You need to travel from your home to a place 40 miles (64km) away. Compare the different kinds of transportation you could use. Tell which method of travel you would choose. Give specific reasons for your choice.
START:
Every summer holiday my family will take a trip to my grandfather’s house in the countryside about 34 miles away. This family tradition has lasted for over 21 years and I have gone there and came back for over 120 times in which only four times we took taxi, since we do not got a car) and only one time we rode on bikes to go there at my six, mostly the city-to-city bus was our first choice.
When we need to travel to a place 40 miles away, what kind of transportation could we use? As there is no such short distance air line and most people cannot afford helicopter, the rest options is obvious. We got bike, car, train and bus to choose from. As far as I am concerned, bus should be the most economic and convenient way for me.
Bike, as the most wildly-used travel tool in my country China, gains praise as much as critics. It is very convenient to ride a bike if you only need to go to the super-market adjacent to your block to buy a sack of salt, and you do not have to pay any fee unlike other methods. However, when the distance become longer, the disadvantage shows apparently, who will bother to ride a bike for over 3 hours to have a one day trip to pay a visit to one of his/her relationships-except some over energy boys like I used to be. What’s more, you risk to be knocked down by a passing car or be robbed during your long trip.
Compared with bike, car owns the privilege of safety and fast. I know in America nearly everyone owns a car. But in my country the number of private car is not that much, mainly because the cost of the car itself and the fuel is still too expansive, additionally lack of parking lot is also a troublesome problem. Even you can afford a car, you might need half an hour to travel and more than two hours to find a place to stop your car. Based on former analysis, I will not choose car as my first choice.
Might there be rail-way in cities, but it rarely extended to towns and countries like where my grandfather lives. Besides, in my city, two vital rail-ways crosses here, due to which buying a ticket is proved to be a terrible task. You have to stand in a smelly line of noisy people before you got your precious ticket.
Bus, as one of the most common transportation means in my country, benefits us both economic and convenient, which is still playing a principal role and showing its splendid future. Take my hometown for instance, according to a recent study from local government, public bus system undertake 90% of the transport between city, suburban and country. Compared with bike, it benefits us fast and convenient; compared with car, it benefits us inexpensive; compared with train, it benefits accessible. Nowadays, most buses are equipped with air-condition and DVD-player so I can take a comfortable nap or enjoy movies during my bus journey.
